Last Updated: March 23, 2025
By using the Montenegro Limo website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”). Please read them carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, you must not use our services. For more information about our company, please see our Legal Notice.
1. General
1.1. Montenegro Limo is a reservation service for private transfers in Montenegro, operated by BALKAN PRIVATE TOURS & TRANSFERS, a company registered in Serbia at PEAR BB, 31214 Srednja Dobrinja, Serbia (PIB: 113509903, MB: 66876748). We partner with local, licensed limo services and taxi providers in Montenegro (“Carriers”) to facilitate seamless transfers for our users (“Users”). This Agreement governs your use of our website (https://montenegrolimo.com) and services (“Service”).
1.2. By using the Service, you confirm that you accept this Agreement in its entirety and agree to be bound by its terms, including the Driver and Passenger Guidelines, which form an integral part of this Agreement. This Agreement takes effect when you first use the Service and remains in force until terminated as described in Section 12.
1.3. We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date will be updated accordingly. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement. If you do not agree with the revised terms, you must stop using the Service.
2. Our Services
2.1. Montenegro Limo provides a reservation platform for the following services:
- Private transfers to and from airports, cities, and tourist destinations in Montenegro (e.g., Tivat, Budva, Kotor, Podgorica, Herceg Novi, Bar).
- Luxury limousine services for special occasions and scenic drives.
- Customizable private transfers within Montenegro.
2.2. We act as an intermediary between Users and Carriers. We are responsible for managing bookings, customer support, and payment processing, while the Carriers provide the transportation services. By booking through our Service, you enter into a direct contract with the Carrier for the transportation service (“Transportation Contract”).
2.3. Users must be at least 18 years old to book a transfer independently. Minors may use the Service only when accompanied by an adult who has booked the transfer on their behalf.
2.4. We do not provide tour guide services as part of our transfers. Our services are limited to transportation only.
2.5. We do not provide services on unpaved or poorly accessible roads in Montenegro that are not suitable for passenger vehicles.
3. Bookings
3.1. All bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance through our website (https://montenegrolimo.com) or by contacting us directly at contact@montenegrolimo.com. We may attempt to accommodate last-minute bookings (less than 24 hours before the transfer), but we are not obligated to do so, and availability is not guaranteed.
3.2. When making a booking, you must provide accurate details, including the pickup location, destination, date, time, number of passengers, and any special requests (e.g., child safety seats). We are not responsible for delays or cancellations due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by you.
3.3. Changes to booking details (e.g., pickup time, destination, additional stops) are not permitted less than 24 hours before the scheduled transfer. We may attempt to accommodate changes if possible, but we are not obligated to do so, and additional charges may apply. Changes made more than 24 hours in advance will be accommodated at our discretion, subject to availability.
3.4. Once a booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your transfer, including the Carrier’s contact information. The Transportation Contract is formed between you and the Carrier at the time of confirmation.
4. Cancellations
4.1. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled transfer time by contacting us at contact@montenegrolimo.com. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled transfer, the full fare will be charged.
4.2. Exceptions to the cancellation policy apply in cases of force majeure, such as flight cancellations, severe weather conditions, protests, or similar events that prevent travel. In such cases, you may cancel at any time before the transfer and receive a full refund, provided you notify us promptly and provide evidence of the event (e.g., flight cancellation notice).
4.3. If the Carrier cancels the transfer or fails to provide the service (e.g., does not arrive at the agreed time or provides an incorrect vehicle class as confirmed in the booking), you may be eligible for a full refund or an alternative Carrier, subject to availability. We will make reasonable efforts to find a replacement Carrier, but we are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from the Carrier’s failure to perform.
4.4. The Carrier reserves the right to cancel the transfer if you engage in inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to harassment, verbal abuse, or failure to comply with the Driver and Passenger Guidelines. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
5. Prices and Payment
5.1. Prices are confirmed at the time of booking and include all taxes, tolls, and fees unless otherwise stated. Prices may vary depending on the location, vehicle class, and any additional requests (e.g., waiting time, extra kilometers, child safety seats), which will be specified in the booking offer.
5.2. Payment terms are agreed upon at the time of booking and may include full payment in advance, a deposit, or payment directly to the Carrier in cash, depending on the location and vehicle class. The specific payment terms will be confirmed in the booking offer.
5.3. If a deposit is required, the percentage will be specified in the booking offer. The remaining balance, if any, must be paid directly to the Carrier in cash unless otherwise agreed.
5.4. Additional charges (e.g., for waiting time, extra kilometers, or special requests like child safety seats) may apply and will be specified in the booking offer. Any unscheduled requests during the transfer (e.g., additional stops, route changes, extra waiting) will incur additional charges, if we are able to accommodate them at all.
5.5. We do not store or process your payment data; payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Any disputes regarding cash payments must be resolved directly with the Carrier.
5.6. Payment by card is possible only if you requested a vehicle with a card reader at the time of booking. If the card reader declines the transaction for any reason, you must pay in cash or, if possible, withdraw cash from a nearby ATM.
5.7. If paying in cash, you must avoid using denominations significantly larger than the transfer fare. The Carrier will have change available, but not for excessively large denominations.
5.8. Payment must be completed before you leave the vehicle’s vicinity, even if the journey continues (e.g., waiting). For transfers to foreign countries, payment must be made on the territory of Serbia.
6. Refunds
6.1. Refunds are only applicable if cancellations are made at least 24 hours before the scheduled transfer time, or in cases of force majeure as described in Section 4.2. Refunds will be processed within 7 days to the original payment method.
6.2. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled transfer, or in the case of a “no-show” (if you fail to appear at the agreed pickup location within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, or 60 minutes for airport pickups).
6.3. If the Carrier fails to provide the service (e.g., does not arrive or provides an incorrect vehicle class as confirmed in the booking), you are eligible for a full refund. Refunds will not be issued if the vehicle matches the confirmed booking but you decide on-site that it does not meet your expectations.
7. Passenger Responsibility
7.1. Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle during the transfer, including but not limited to damage to the interior, exterior, or equipment. The cost of repairs or cleaning resulting from passenger actions must be paid directly to the Carrier.
7.2. Passengers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations during the transfer, as well as the Driver and Passenger Guidelines. The following behaviors are prohibited:
- Smoking in the vehicle.
- Consuming food or beverages that may cause damage or mess (e.g., spilling drinks).
- Consuming alcohol in the vehicle.
- Transporting pets.
- Transporting oversized or excessive luggage that may damage the vehicle or affect safety.
- Harassing, disrespecting, or behaving inappropriately toward the driver.
The Carrier reserves the right to refuse service or terminate the transfer if passengers violate these rules, and no refund will be issued in such cases.
7.3. Before leaving the vehicle, passengers must check that they have not forgotten any belongings. We are not responsible for lost or forgotten items.
8. Liability
8.1. Montenegro Limo acts solely as an intermediary between Users and Carriers. We are not a transportation provider and do not own or operate the vehicles used for transfers. The Transportation Contract is between you and the Carrier, and we are not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages or losses that occur during the service, including but not limited to:
- Delays due to traffic, weather, road conditions, protests, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
- Accidents, injuries, or property damage during the transfer.
- Failure of the Carrier to provide the agreed service (e.g., late arrival, incorrect vehicle, unprofessional behavior).
8.2. Our liability is limited to the proper transmission of booking information between you and the Carrier, and the transfer of payments to the Carrier. We are not liable for the accuracy of information provided by the Carrier, nor for the Carrier’s performance of the Transportation Contract, except in cases where we have provided incorrect information to the Carrier (e.g., wrong pickup time or location).
8.3. In cases where the Carrier fails to provide the service (e.g., late arrival, no-show, incorrect vehicle), we may refund the transfer fare or terminate our partnership with the Carrier. However, if you choose to pursue legal action, you must do so directly against the Carrier. We are obligated to provide the Carrier’s contact details upon request to facilitate such action.
8.4. We are not liable for any failure to perform obligations under this Agreement due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, protests, flight cancellations, or government actions (“Force Majeure”).
8.5. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claims arising from this Agreement will not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant transfer.
9. Indemnity
9.1. You agree to indemnify and hold Montenegro Limo and BALKAN PRIVATE TOURS & TRANSFERS harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of our website or services.
- Any breach of this Agreement or the Driver and Passenger Guidelines.

11. Termination
11.1. This Agreement takes effect when you first use the Service and continues until terminated.
11.2. We may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without notice, if:
- You breach any provision of this Agreement or the Driver and Passenger Guidelines.
- We are required to do so by law or regulation.
- We determine that continuing to provide the Service is no longer commercially viable.
12. Governing Law
12.1. This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Serbia, as the country of registration of BALKAN PRIVATE TOURS & TRANSFERS.
13. Dispute Resolution

13.2. Any disputes between you and the Carrier (e.g., regarding the quality of the transfer service, damages, or delays) must be resolved directly with the Carrier, and the laws of Montenegro will apply. We are obligated to provide the Carrier’s contact details upon request to facilitate such action.
14. Force Majeure
14.1. Neither Montenegro Limo nor BALKAN PRIVATE TOURS & TRANSFERS will be liable for any failure to perform obligations under this Agreement due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, protests, flight cancellations, or government actions (“Force Majeure”).
